There she is. Taken on a 2/0 tan over white clouser with a 9wt Explorer guide rod and intermediate line.

Note, that thing in the top of the pic is not my boat, but my shoe.

Hi Will101,

I wont laugh, i caught heaps of these buggers at De Mond on my last visit. They where everywhere and chasing any fly they could get hold of

:clap12:clap12:clap12 That is why I put all the leeries I catch back. They are real gentleman. I went fishing for them yesterday after work, but I blanked hopelessly. I didn't even see a fish. The water was perfect and I enjoyed the outing.

Hi Patrick, the Rapala was a X-rap, i think that it is quite similar to the shad rap though..... a couple of casts afterwards i got this tiny leerie on the same lure!

Yeah, that was down on the last bend of the river near the mouth on the Witsands side!

Awesome catch by your other half Donovan, many a seasoned angler would be pleased with that! I should make the effort to get down there sometime, it looks fantastic.

Hi Gavin:welcomesea:!

I should not be recommending the place we stayed at, at least not so soon, until they have resolved their er... little problem. Contact San Remo here on Sealine - he has an awesome spot at Witsand that sleeps about 10 people.

I hope the Struisbaai Police did not hassle you too much about your best catch! Poor little bugger:fbash !

just kidding!

or as big... But the days were spent spining under the watchful eye of the BOSS.   Take note... Pat putting some serious plug to water
