Made my first few Gallie casts over the weekend... and this bugger picked me up between the bricks. It was insane!

For the rest of you - a 5 year old girl still holds the 2019 Galie record.

volmaan, windstil, laagwater, carbide lamp en skepnet. allerhande bankvis, mooi gallies as jy by die regte plekke is met lekker sloepe en skeure. kry altyd n verrassing in die net.

Got my first 2019 gallie on my second throw of the season. Lost a bussss that left me crying... landed another gallie after this one- nithing of proper size though..

Ek het lekker geblank die naweek. Struisbaai en Infanta gehengel, 3 Kolsterte vir my moeite gekry :?.

Baie dankie Houtarm! Ja, was baie bly vir daai vis, en hy het nogals lekker gespook - ek vind gewoonlik op sand veg hulle nie so hard soos tussen die klippe nie, maar nie hy nie! En net soos ek hom vrylaat het my ander stok gesak, toe kry ek 'n mooi duckbill van amper 1.1m!

And nice one Soupcan, that okie does not looked impressed with you, quite the "vuil kyk"!

Went for my first hunt with the intention of only catching one for the braai as I'm the only one consuming them from the braai at home.

Caught this 41cm butterball on prawn.

What a rev with the 12ft Loomis and Tor16 with braid in the bricks.
