Sealine Admin is totally disgusted with the conduct from the two of you on the "kommetjie" thread!!!!!!!!!!!

That is NO way for two newly promoted Sealiners to behave on open forum!!!!!

@Carlos, your swearing has been the worst in a long time! and it will not be tolerated!!! You will be given 2 yellow cards for that offence, that means "strike 2" !!!!

@Cracker Jack, forum rules are clear, no swearing is permitted, not even using the @#%^$ symbols to mask your swearwords!also fighting with other members on the open forum is also not permitted!!! you will be given 1 yellow card

Double Standards!!!!

Daar is baie ander manne wat okk die letters $$#@#@#@ gebruik asook vloek wat julle niks aan doen nie, hoekom net die manne oor die vinger klits, kom bietjie by sealine admin. Wat goed is vir een is goed vir almal!

Wikus, just like AYOBA said, and like weve been trying to explain to for ages, USE THE REPORT A POST BUTTON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are no duoble standards! And BTW it is against Sealine rules to have more than one user name! that we will sort out shortly! Medic

A few suggestions if I may,

1) Instead of locking the thread completely ,can you edit the offensive posts and repost the thread? I feel that we often lose what could of otherwise been a valuable thread due to a couple of $ and #'s ? the norm with @#^ words is, we edited it and give a warning! the kommetjie thread has been moved and we are deciding what to do with it, so that we can decide if it is worthwhile editing and reposting it without it creating another issue! Medic

2)This suggestion may be pushing my luck but for what its worth,

Allow the users to decide whether they want to read the posts  censored or uncensored .I agree that this is a family site and members should obey the rules.Why not have an option that warns you that the post might be offensive to some but allow you to open it should you want to? creates to many loopholes! and there are enough normal words in english and afrikaans to express any form of emotion without resorting to swearing and cursing! Medic

Interested to hear how others feel particularly about point 2?

sorry if i affended any of you guys! but if a guy is throwing stones at you are you just going to stand there and let them hit you or are you going to catch them and throw them back????

i will for 1 not stand there and let them hit me! i will fight back as i have my rights as a human being!!

i might have said things that could have upset guys and sorry for that! it wasnt the place for that to happen and im apologising on a open forum!

sorry heatseker and carlos i will keep my mouth shut even if i dont agree with you guys in the future

i did for 1 not swear using the full letters and hid them which i know isnt right but as stampie says it is seen all over so why must we take the bunt for it????

Top of every post there is a report post button. If someone steps out of line click the button and it will get sorted.

I reported that one as there was over 2000 views witch of half is non members but guests. Imagine what picture that paints for Sealine! And then it's under a messy thread as well! Sealine looks real good after some noob reads that, dont you think.

We all say stuff that others dont agree to and I for one am a proud wrong doer in that case.LOL:fbash
But you learn to deal with it and keep the booboo words back. I will chirp someone back in sarcasm, most of the time they flip their top and I smile with success. Never take me to serious, I like pulling legs and getting a jerk reaction back.

All together now.

My point is that I didnt even get the chance to be offended...plus being offended is not the worst thing in the world...its not like you are going to wake up with leprosy just because youre offended

@CJ and Carlos. Can't realy blame any of you two for getting hot under the collar. It is after all a sport that you guys live for. Was one of the most interesting threads in a long time, well for me anyway. Pity it was removed thou. Learnt alot from it and might have learnt some more had it been left to run. Well no use crying over spilt milk.

@CJ and Heatseeker big ups for the apology.

All I ask is that at the very least the offensive posts be removed but that the thread stays up....that is what we normaly do! When that happens members dont even know it! this thread is under reviewe! Medic
