Hiya Guys,

This was a hot topic even during the bash.

As far as R&S I really feel that HITW is halfway for everyone. Now some may say that the CT guys don’t attend, and therefore why consider them when choosing a venue?

My thoughts are that we should settle on a suitable venue and fish it for at least three consecutive years. This will go a long way in ensuring that everyone gets to hear about the Bash and makes equal chance for all to attend.

Once we get the numbers up, including CT guys, the bash becomes almost institutional with a reputation to boot. Then we can revisit the location and either keep it along the Wild Coast or move it to another province or location.

Donner- if i didn't Look at the time this was posted i could've sworn blind Trophy had copied my Pm word for word to the EC boys .

I Sent a Pm Not twenty Minutes back stating Precisely the same , only to go read this Post and find same sentiment Repeated in troph's Post .

I'm planning on Me Losing some hooks at Maphuzi ,  girls .Vidal may be great- but i aint seen Nothing like Maphuzi , Not ever . Ayoba .

I'm with trophy on this one hands-down .We Now Know More about the terrain - Not all of us had the Luxury of spending More time at Maphuzi than in Mandela's Mouth fixing teeth (cough ...) to find the Lekke spots, and it was basically a day-one Recce at the start of the comp .Now at Least we Know where some people Were Dashing off to at 4 early Morning , to go find the nunu's ....Admittedly This Must've been a bit of a help in getting hooked . Nevertheless my point being - More of us Know e spot now , and this Makes fishing a certain place that much more easier .

HITW was a Blast - it just depended on in what Mood ya got there , and what you went there for . Kumz Paella follwed by Multiple slides was a blast (!) , and yip , fishin Stank Man , but that was circumstancial .Seein  Every one was ultra cool.

Even skrops ( SKROPPPS!!!- Wassup bud !!!!???!) agrees it's Not a Bad idea- so thats 5 votes from gp for ....... !

It aint a short walk for all of us , and the accoms were a bit split(we couldn't overhear Reefman Strategizing until we were practically IN the Frikkin bungalow ..) But it was great to be a part of the event . Taxman Must Maar Pay, I'm In .

Hey Admin, whats the thoughts on this? It looks like a very mixed bag of opinions and not an easy call to make and I suppose you are never going to make everyone happy!

In saying that we need to get an Idea as booking at vidal will be filling up fast!

So as to not clog the voting thread, I was wondering, if the R&S guys make the vote swing to the Transkei, how about a little Sealine comp somewhere for the skiboaters?

I am sure we can get some prizes from our offshore tackle distributor mates on here, and then we can pick something kief. Like Zavora :)

sounds good....I think we sould keep it a bit closer, as towing the big rigs is a bitch!!

but I do like Zavora...used to work there!!!

Funny things is... you probably fish those grounds more than we do!

Looks like we are getting out-voted by the Transkei guys, if they all do make it they are going to have one hell of a party with 30 ppl.
