Yip that Kob had a fresh wound that looked like a Raggie pup had a bite at it. The river had opened a few weeks prior and I suspect that those Kob had just come in from the sea. It was the biggest of 7 I got that morning and about 20 odd came out among 6 of us. All were over 50cm. I released that one so I hope it survived.

I've barely touched the lures the last 2 years but I'm keen to get back into it a bit. The sharks have kept me busy but a bit of lure fishing is always good. I want to try my hand at Kob on Dropshot in the surf and off the rocks now.

I have some awesome spots in the surf for Cob. just out of town towards PE i found an amazing spot for Cob.its a nice point with a big hole in the surf zone.
now is the time to be fishing the surf and holes for Cob.the shad are coming in now and there will be some big Cob following!
