Pity PieterH wasn't at work yesterday to see your postponement so he drove down to the social today - on his birthday and looked a real chum as nobody pitched.

oom and i spoke today and he knows we made plans to fish next weekend. he told me he is goin to scotties today anyway. he said weather was bad and he didnt even fish. i was tied up with work and promise him a joll next weekend

Piet told me you spoke earlier and that you could not make it. I think he thought you were talking for yourself, not for everybody when you said maybe next week.

There was a good result in the end - When he phoned me some time after 11 pm, all giggling and gurgling, he had a lot to say about Royboy (and me not warning him about Roy - he he he he). So Roy - thanks, it sounds like he had a ball of a time.

Sorry Pieterh, if i had known you were going to be in scotties yesterday i would have loved to meet up with you and have some dops for your birthday!

We were sitting at Scruffy Murphy's anyway, looking at the k@K weather!:beer::slo

Hey Guys - NO PROB!!!!

PieterH, my boet-in-law and I ended up at Stokers in Kloof last night and had MANY Jaegie-bombs to Celebrate Garth's meaning to us all, and Pieter's birthday. I think we all had fuzzy brains this morning............

Went down to Scotties on Sat ,spoke to a few chaps fishing there but nothing, the surfers took over as they were surfing right in front of the point.No use to even try.

Met up with Roy in durbs, soory for the poor pics , but it was late:

Wanted to fish on Sunday, but- after a night like that, I was scared that I would cast backwards.

Thanks Roy and Chris, it was great.

Just a suggestion here guys, but can we maybe change the venue from Scotties point for sat. Reason being that I was there on Sun morn at 5.00a.m. and the guys were already surfing in front of the point.The surfers are also normally there in the afternoons and it becomes a bit of a problem when they start interfering with the lines. I rather we fish in peace than having to argue with them.
