Thanks for the comments guys, glad you enjoyed the pics!! I sure as hell enjoyed getting them!!
Top two pics are from down here in the Cape, I think those two are off the Holsloot river...amazing stream up in the Mountains. Wild Spawn rainbows on micro patterns and ultr light flyrods... awesome stuff.
The next couple are from a Slatwater Flyfishing trip I did to the outer atolls of the Seychelles in Arpil 2005. We did Cosmoledo and Farquhar Atolls...without a doubt the finest fishing on the planet!! Between 10 anglers, all on fly, all sight fishing, we got over 30 species, including over 200 Giant Trevlly, and probably close on a 1000 boneifsh in 10 days... My first morning chasing Bones I got over 40!! The place is nuts!!!
The fish in those pics are:
Bohar Snapper ( Lutjanus Bohar )
GT
Grouper
GT
GT
Bonefish
The B&W shot is the Tarpon in the story in the Fishing Stories Thread called Tackling Giant Tarpon taken in the Cayman Islands on casting tackle.
Next is a Garrick taken in Mgazana river last August. We had crap weather and not great fishing but still managed 13 species including some nice Grunter, Perch, shad, and my old man got a 9 kilo Poensie off the Bricks.
Last shot is a Yellwofin take off Cape Point, one of many taken out there, I just like that shot
Here is another favourite shot of mine:
and a few more off the streams:
