early in the comp the fish were around and going wild managed to get a nice sized blacktail and a huge rainbow wrasse and alot of blacktails that were one centimeter short of a point! later on things were gone very quiet with me just managing to get one more blacktail and a nice cavebass...

Fished my regular spots at salt rock on saturday. rushed up at around 10:00 and dug up some red bait. at around 11 started fishing the close gullies and where getting some huge blacktail! haven't seen them around in a while. all blacktails ranged from around 500g to 1.2kg. when the tide started...

Congrats to ocean darku on his outstanding performance in dssa comp held at amatikulu. If only we had our SEALINE "UNIFORM" it would have been much better!!! pity there were no other sealine members there! i'l leave OD to give the stats!

How many of you guys were one of those illegal bait fisherman back in the day or jus recently but have changed for the better? for example harvesting illegal rock bait and stuff like that. about 9 years back i saw a couple of guys digging red bait including the worm that sometimes underneath...

cracker worked much better then red prawn on that day. had a real hassle trying to hook these fish because they where biting like 5cm black tails!!! this fish really fought hard right to the very end. there were alot of these buggers around but only managed to hook this one. MERRY CHRISTMAS...

did anyone catch this from shore? and i heard that they love karo's and hardly go for anything else!!! they should be around from december to the end of jan and i want to get at least 1. any hotspots? any lures/spoons? do they fight dirty? any info would help.   thanks
