Your Smallest Bass

Ok, so its a little unconventional I know, but just to be different, post a pic of your smallest Bass ever.

If you can, also display the lure next to/near it so to show the relation of the lure to the Bass.

If you have more examples of really small bass that take baits too big for them, or in relation to them is too small for the bait, feel free to post them.

This is mine, have a look, all the hooks are in it's mouth, and it was a biaaatch to get off the hooks.

The second pic is for a size comparison. Caught on a #4 Mepps Original

When my Old was alive he tired to farm with bass - we had couple of farm dams connected by weirs and used to cath the bass finerlings in the weirs and relocate them to holding tanks however the kurper fry would hatch more less the same time and also ended up in the holding tanks - on numerous occasions we would find dead baby bass that drowned - they would try and eat the kurpers that were slightly smaller and the kurpers would become stuck and drown the bass

And the winner is Quintin Koeglenberg even though he attempts to make the bass look bigger it is still a racing snake.................

lol at Oppiekoppie Bass Farm I caught one of 10cm on small glassy Fly on 3wt Rod - what a vicious attack lifted him clean out the water

If only I had a camera handy at the time.....

Hunting big GT's at Mabibi with a large Kingfish plug, and hooked a tiny threadfin (bastard mullet), at least an inch smaller than the lure. At first thought it was foul hooked by mistake until unhooking it, saw the huge treble hook was lodged securely in its mouth.

But yeah, have on occasion caught li'l tilapia and hauled in a large mouth no bigger than the tilapia, hanging on for dear life. Greedy li'l buggers!

Sorry okes... I'm with GL on this one, I only catch BIG FUSHIES!!!! Hahahahahaha!!!

Ok I lie... I have taken some truly miniscule bass but don't have any pics to show for it....

But I do have this shot of the elusive "Ghost Fish".... Taken in Seychelles...... it was certainly the "lightest" fish I've ever taken....

If one is really careful, and uses the highest tech camera equipment, with a special lens, you can actually capture a shot of the fish....., this is what the "Ghost Fish" looks like....

But of course without the special lens, all you will see is the image in the first post.... :)

Kinda like the Emperors New Clothes.... you gots to believe to see!!! :)
