Wiring diagram 115 Yamaha oil injection.

Hi.
I got lots of information on www.yamahaoutboardparts.com . Just register on the forum and do a search, there is stacks of info on their website. I think I found the problem on my tachometer, one of the small coil springs inside was broken of. I resoldered it and will check it this afternoon on the boat. The moving coil part of the tachometer works fine now without the electronics, couldn't get it to work with a signal generator so will have to check it on the boat.

I posted this on the yamaha parts forum as well, maybe someone here can help me.
I bought a second hand 115 oil injection motor. The wiring was butchered a bit and I am batteling to get the tachometer sorted out. The original Yamaha plugs have been changed so all I have to work with is wire colours. On the tachometer there is a Green and Black wire going to the tachometer circuitry and on the oil indication(lamps) there is the following colour wires, Black-common to all lamps(I suppose it is ground),Red-oil low lamp, Green-oil full lamp, Yellow-oil can lamp(Not sure why they have this lamp, suppose it is to show when the ignition is on and that there is power to the lamps).
On the motor the only spare wires is Green/Red stripe, Yellow/Red stripe, Yellow, Green/Black stripe. Which colour wire goes to the signal of the tachometer(Is it the green in the main harness?) What voltage is the signal that goes to the tachometer at idle? Also which wires goes to the oil indication lamps on the tachometer? Your help will be greatly appreciated

Hi there.
I got the tachometer sorted out thanks to all your help with the diagrams. I would never have done it without the diagrams you guys helped me with. All three light are working 100%, the tachometer is stuffed though. I get the 6 volt signal from the motor on the green wire but as soon as I plug the tachometer in the voltage gets pulled to ground. I opened the tachometer (not supposed to do it as it is a sealed unit) and found the driver IC inside stuffed. The moving coil part of the indicator works fine. What I need now is a second hand indicator that I can strip for spares because the local electronic shop said they can not get the driver IC. I will post a new thread where I will ask the guys if anyone can help me with a spare tachometer. I also need a trim switch (on the motor).
