1cm+1cm teflon 10cm long and flashy bits are wifes Mariah Carey cd. The disc in front of the "thing" is supposed to give it more "pop" in the water. Laugh if you have too ,but, give your opinions anyway!!

It is already doing the job you designed it to do!
I have some Josh Groban, Celine Dion and other pop artist aimed at the female folk that can be used. Are you going to do a DIY post to show us how to make these into something good?

I found that cd's cut easily with a carpetknife!! Needles to say , all my spinners now have glowstrips on them!! Some Loctite superglue and you are a for away!!

Looks good, but so i've been told, the plastic material used to make CDs doesn't last long at all in salty water (gets corroded very easily)... But gotta admit, even if it lands 5 good fish it's so worth it!!! I'm sure it will.
Let us know how it goes.
Good work mate, well done!

The flash on CD's do not last in salt water.

The cheapos from Osmans wont lats 2 hours!

But there is no reason why it won't work! Give it a bash and let us know..

I am not too concerned about the flash of the cd not lasting, my wife has k#k taste in music ,so, I have a LARGE stash of cd's to destroy!!!::S

if your confident and throw it with confidence then it will work!

i believe that the minute you think "this is never gonna work" and just half heartedly throw this new "zipzapper pink and feather duster spoon" around youl never get a bite!

throw it thinking its gonna catch everything and it will...hopefully

if it doesn't at least you did your wife a favour!

That could be deadly! Just coat the flash part with some clear nail varnish or something. I just think it might not run on the surface because the chisel nose of the original plug is what makes it ride up the water column and onto the surface. Throw it!
