No plans as to date, a huge pitty about that quarry being dangerous. Would have loved to go there but loosing your life for a days fishing is just not worth it.

Got our club compo there on sunday. would have prefered going to alberts to practise for the classic though. I did however fishe there 2 weeks ago. Managed 2 fish 1.4 and 1.8kg in an hour at a new spot I found!

Johan VC's connection "VERN" if he is still on Sealine has fished there before - sounds like it gets busy with boaters/jetski's etc on weekends

Heard that fishing there is great and that the cenery is spectacular! Peeps that go there always end up visiting Alberts over and over again!

Off to Alberts on Friday! At least can do a little Pre-fishing, see if the spots are producing etc... before heading off to the Berg on Sat for some flyfishing.

A bunch of friends are going to the Vaal Dam to try and pre-fish for the ESA there next month.

I am thinking of also towing my boat there and joining them. But also after the bassafrica last weekend I am really not in the mood to try and look for fish all day.

Also I have heard the rumors of the waves on that dam when the wind picks up. ::titanic:

Does anyone know a good launching site? By good I mean one that I dont need to drive my bakkie into the water and one that might be covered when the wind starts blowing. o ja if its cheap it will also be great. :kaykak
