So we decided to hit a stretch around gordons bay last night.my lines went in at around 7:30. To make a long story shrt, I ended up with a small cowshark and a biiig hiding!
I got picked by a beast at 3am and lost it at 6:25am...all this in big swell, pouring rain and some very slippery rocks. Ray also lost a big fish after being bitten off.

I really wouldve liked to show you pics of the beast, but alas... I only have a empty reel to show for it!
All in all a great, hard working fishing outing.

Aaagh!! What a pity, but at least you have the stiffness and empty reel to remind you of the fun you had.

Nice

i went to say hi at the rocks at 6 am where i found Rean wet, hungry, thirsty and tired. the fish ran to the side probably 250-350m down the side, line parallel to the side...

not much could be done in that situation. line went POP...

you had good sports buddy.
