the weekend produced some good catches of cob on the west coast, typical baits used was pilchard and chokka.
preferred feeding times were push tide to high tide.
fish in the 2.0kg to 7.0kg class were landed at the kraal
the fish are still around but they wont be for long. clearly these were the typical silver cob with red tinge in the body and tail which prevails during the summer months... the winter cob are brown and stocky.
other fish such as steenbrass, elf, geelbek and white stumps were also landed.
