With the fish festival this weekend, Sarah, myself together with Carlos Moran, took the road up to Winston and landed some good cob.
At one stage Carlos decided to go a bit south of our area and we opted for north. His choice turned out to be the better choice of the two as he landed close to 20 cob in 3 hrs.
My choice of south was not all that good, but Sarah and myself each landed some smaller cob and a spottie each. Also managed to get a Galjoen of 31cm on a 5/0 hook while trying for Steenbra.
The weather was not all that good, as it was very misty and cold during the day.
Our sincere feelings go out to our other fishing buddy SPYKER KRUGER, who had to do the fatherly thing and work at the stall ( selling fish and chips ) his sons school had at the festival grounds.
He looked extremely at home behind the frying pans in a apron.
