Well this thread is so old, but great service deserves to be rewarded.
Manoli I took you up on your offer December. A friend and I booked our seats on Sharky.
Long story short, fishing was very slow until about 10:00. But this didn't stop the skipper (wish I could remember his name) from changing spots as soon as the barbels or penhaaie became n nuisance.
8 out of the 12 guys on the boat got sick but the skipper promised he'll find some fish and true to his word at a bout 10:30 we dropped our lines on one of his secret spots. We caught some nice fish in a short time and as soon as they went of the bite we moved again and found the fish again.
Now this was the complete opposite to my previous experience, this time the skipper went out of his way to keep his clients happy. He mentioned more than once that he will not give up until we have fish for the braai.
He even gave some of his fish to the anglers that was to sick to fish.
Manoli, respect to you and your skipper. Please convey this message to the skipper too.
I will hopefully book again in December.
