Wanted: Penn Senator 12/0 right side plate

Hello.

after having spoken to some guys on alan tani's forum. i now realise that i need the pre 1989 side plate as the new modern one that uses bearing will not working with my old school senator.

I am looking for the Handle (right) side plate

I anyone has one or knows where i can buy one please please let me know.

After asking/reading further on alan's forum, turns out its not the pre 1989 right side plate i need. its the one from the 1956 origonal senator, with the threads for the bushings.

some how i reckon thats going to be a tough one to find

Thanks for the tip Serra but Fritz is already on it and has been so for quite a while now. getting purefishing to get you parts is dam near impossible.

Its been a constant uphill battle to get parts since i started trying to order them in December 2011 and subsequently, when this parts story is over... i'm never ever buying a Penn reel in South Africa ever again. the aftersales service from purefishing is non-existant :cry1:cry1

I have emailed about 10 places in america and no one has that specific plate. So im chancing my luck with an Add on sealine

ok, sounds like a tough one....Maybe PM MILES in Cape Town, Tuna Operator, also a Penn Man as he uses them on his Tuna boats, very nice + helpfull member, I am sure he might know about an old broken one, perhaps it's just one you looking for?
