Vertical Jigging

hi Mick Jack

if you saw the 12/04/07 episode of ESA then you would know what i'm talking about.they had a french guest angler who introduced to them a technique called vertical jigging. a spoon is dropped to the sea bed from a boat and then brought back to the surface by a series of jerks  and spins. the idea is to attract bottom feeding fish by trying to get a bite on the descend or when retrieving the spoon, by mimicking a bait fish that ascends slow then faster as it gets to the surface. but the uninque thing about this is that only one hook is used on the spoon but it is attached to a seperate trace next to the spoon at the head. try to see the repeat sometime this weekend on supersport.

if it is an american invention, they can keep , i dont like americans, they are too full of themselves. i'll convert back and start using ' mielie-pap boms over the reefs.
