Hi Guys! How much would one of those ocea jiggers and JM rods set me back and also how would I go about getting my hands on one of those? Please guys, any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Van Straten - We can supply you with both Ocea Jigger's and JigStar rods, which are equivalent, if not better than Jigging Master, and built around similar blanks and style ( awesome Parabolic action, incredibly light and powerful, and blinged up companents )
Our pricing on the JigStar's will be finalised soon....we really don't want to be giving out the pricing until we are 100% on them so as to assure you of a definte price and 110% quality service. But the pricing should be available by the end of the week hopefully.
Ocea Jiggers will take a little more time unfortunately as these reels are EXTREMLY difficult to get hold of, as they are Japanese Domestic Market products only, and are even very rare in Japan at the moment..I think I have the only 3 Ocea Jiggers on the African continent, my personal ones. . we do however have 4 Ocea Jigger 4000P secured and hopefully on our way to us soon direct from Japan...... Timing and pricing on these will hopefully be forth coming in 2 weeks.
An alternative option will be the Altutecnos Gorilla reels which we will have available. These are true Ferrari's of reels, built to handle anything that swims, and absolutely beautiful.
The models and specs on these, along with pricing and timing will be forthcoming hopefully in the next week.
What I can gurantee you is that the JigStar rods are like nothing else on the market in this country, and are eons ahead of what we get locally, and at a price that makes them more than competetive.....
I know you guys have been very patient with us in waiting for pricing, and we appreicate it. But the reason for the delay has to do with us wanting to be absolutely assured of giving you all the best deals possible, at the best possible service, and delivering on our promised services and products, right from the word go....
The rods are here, and ready to ship as soon as we are set up.
Info will be forth coming, and JigStar is going to completely change the way you look at Jigging tackle and Tackle service in South Africa and Africa... something that has been a LOOOOONG time coming and needed!!!
We're looking forward to blowing minds and smashing ALOT of BIG NASTY fish!!!!

Hey VS - Nepps hit the nail perfectly! We have the rods, just being jerked around a bit with the backend admin (VAT REG etc.) but should be sorted in the next few days - (Please SARS PLEASE!!!!).
We will also have the coolest Jigging reel in the world available here in SA IMMEDIATELY at the launch at the Miami Boat Show from 28th Feb. - that's next week!
JigStar Africa will be the 1st company in the world to have them for resale.......worth the wait I guarantee it. As soon as we have the spec sheets from the factory (expect it by Wednesday) then we can share the secret......a saliva generating MACHINE!!!!
