Trout fishing in Stellies/Somerset West/Paarl area

Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I'm looking for a place where one can go trout fishing in either Stellenbosch, Somerset West or Paarl area.

Feel like doing something this weekend which I haven't done in a long time and Fly fishing is at the top of the list since my girlfriend also wants to try it.

I don't have a rod anymore, so if there is a place in these areas where one can rent equipment for a day or session it will be brilliant.

Your easiest would most likely be Eikendal on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West. Philip is the guy to speak to - they rent rods as far as I know. You can also get all your flies etc from his shop there. If you need a bit of technical help he is also a brilliant fisherman - so should see you getting into a nice fat stockie.
