This is my first report.
Firstly, thank you for a fantastic website forum and for making our lives much much simpler.
well I am a beginner at fishing and there's lots to learn in time, but fishing will teach you a great deal more than anything else in life.
That said I'm from Pmb, and the last few months we've been doing weekend trips to the south coast and local dbn including the wharf and blue lagoon. This past week my brothers-in-law and myself drove north to Eshowe for some business and after that we made a stop at the Tugela mouth spoke to a few locals and then proceeded to Tinley Manor. We quickly looked at the water and the wind was just about 5 or 6km. We dropped a line in the water roughly at about half 12.
We were targeting Shad and had also made a general trace for one of our other rods. After about 25 minutes and a few lost bites my swaarie felt a small bite on his rod. He looks at his brother and then sets the hook and next thing he comes to the rocks. I think and stand to be corrected that he pulled out a garfish. photo taken and then released the little guy.
