I was there 2 weeks ago for the inlands and got stuck in to big barbel and a few tigers not bigger than 2-2.5. Dam is full "i think"and there is a lot of structure

Just seen an article posted in one of the Durban news papers of a 5.7kg Tiger taken past weekend. The guy who took 3rd spot in last years comp it was his wife, so it looks like things are warming up

Time is running out and I still have issues with my boat motors. Back to the dam again this weekend for a final test. Last thing I want is to be stranded at the comp and need to be towed in with the winning fish.

The best advice i can offer on getting the fish to bite is fish with baits early(livies, sards,CHICKEN HAERTS,CHICKEN FILLETS cut into 4' fish like shapes marinated in a liver tub over night gives it a naughty flavour!!!!!!!)red/yellow food colouring on the tail makes things even hotter!

Troll SLOW the midday section with flaoting magnum rappies(Springbok colour, hot tiger, fire tiger, black silver, white, blue and white combo)THANK ME LATER!!!!!!!
