yyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa i have paid for my entry and paid for my challet at nkonkoni and now there is now backing away from the tiger comp.........so excited!

can any one share thier secret with me on how to catch little dwarf kurper or small kurper at jozini or perhaps give a exact location as to where those little buggers hide!

Me and 3 friends will be there, need to read the tiger forum first as i only once before fished for tigers and it was in the chobe river in Botswana, Kasane. Cuaght all the tigers with live bait, small bream, got none on the spinners. Funny thing was at first i only cuaght barber on the small bream, some oke told me to use a "dobbertjie" and let the live bait hang from it about a meter deep, 5min and VAS.

Looks like we gonna have quite a few sealiners at this yrs comp...Nice. Best bait for those small kurper is a stick of dynamite, or alternatively every year there are a few business minded locals who pitch up to the camping ground with a tank of small kurper that you can buy from them...

THANKS KONA,HOOKER FOR THAT INFO..........I AM THINKING ALONG THE LINE OF A FEW GOLD FISH AND TAKING SOME VLEI KURPERS ALONG.

THERE IS A FARM DAM CLOSE TO BE THAT HAS VLEI KURPERTJIES SHOULD WORK!!!!!!

Sure it will work fine just not sure about the gold fish, have been told that people use them but never had anyone say if they actually catch using them....sure this would make SPCA very happy.

If you are caught bringing in Alein species to the comp you will automatically be disqualified and Natal parks will set their wrath on you....

Thanks for that Ryan. So for live bait what is your recomendation? What type of curper do you get in Jozi and what should we be using. I always get from the guy selling at the gate of the comp.
