ok, so today is my birthday. A whole 22 years young. i wake up this morning and im greeted with a big hug and kiss. and get given a huge box and get told to be careful. opening it slowly and after what seemed like a hour (she must have used 3 rolls of sellotape ) i get into the box and there is a long thin thing inside.

Now you need to be even more careful. and so the next battle started i think this one had even more sellotape on it!.

finally i get a piece open, and see the back off it. its a mirror. i think what the hell!!.

get further and i see a mechanical part OH!, its a clock mirror. ((wideeye)) , and then i see the front and its been sand blasted with my name on it and years i fished for border. so it has alot of sentimental value to it and the time and she put into finding someone to do it. thanks babes you the best.

ok so we go to work. im keen to go home to get ready for tomorrow's fishing comp. Pick my girlfriend up from work on the way home. stop at the shop to get cool drinks, the all important PLAY and some barone's . get home and my girlfriend starts making supper.

im sorting my clothes out first, all done.

Reels, check. bait, check. rods , check. clothes, check. lunch, girlfriend is busy with that.

now i need to sort out my tackle bag. sinkers first. spare sinkers go in a bag in my clothes bag to leave in the car just in case.

now i need to open my bag to get the trace pouches out to make some more traces AND!.

i was really shocked!!. i didnt say anything. i thought thats not how i left it!!. look around the room to check for the canded camera team to jump out.

still sitting there, i have not touched it. i shouted for my girlfriend she comes through to see what is wrong. i asked her when did she put it there! . smiling from ear to ear like a mad man :rasta .

Last month we have been together for 5 years now. She is the best thing i could ever ask for. she means the world to me.

And the best part of all is she fishes as well. i thought she would not take to it but, she took to it like a fish to water. lol.

she even kicks my ass sometimes!. (most times )
