A (new) after-fit will be more than the motors are worth I reckon

So, secondhand may be an option. but how easily this is done I have no idea

Good day and good year to you all!!!!

Mag julle almal ace-like visse vang vanjaar!!!

We have had bad boating weather on the west coast, and that is likely to last well into February when the winds should start dropping

However we are blessed in the sense that deep water is the closest out of Saldanha on the whole coastline from Cape Point up, so it is only a question of finding nicer days when the warm water is nearer

This is a year for radar, some tiagra reels and a Bennie Jordaan braai for my boat!

We can also look at getting some Ace Craft owners and -lovers together for a do, with or without the boats

Aceshhhhhh.....what fun would that not be!!!!::S

I saw 2 Ace Cat 555's again today what a stunning boat ::S

We spent the night on Langebaan last Friday, all by ourselves

When I got out the cabin first light,  there were nearly 40 boats anchored around us

:fbash:fbash:fbash!!!!!!

Very shitty NW on the outgoing tide makes for horrible chop...1 metre every 4 seconds or so

Straight into the motors

There was an Ace Cat 555 ten metres to my starboard and a 520 Supercat 15 metres off my bow

The Ace Cat had 6 people on board and the Supercat had 5

The Supercat was taking water over the transom all the time, whereas the Ace Cat was totally unfazed and dry

True story

No pics unfortunately
