I have never been on a boat that doesnt require some trimming as you go unless you like leaning.. So your spot on imo.

Nice to see my transom pics come up again BFC :)

The SDV has a 16,5 deg deadrise
The DV has a 21 deg deadrise (but no recess for tabs as per modern American boats).

Sales , going inconsistent for everybody at the moment but we have 3 builds in process so have to limit forum chirping a bit :).

busy with a new website , some new pics etc
but why don't you get your arse off the chair and come take some of these toys for a spin,as there are 4 different boats rigged and ready now.

I see you trolling for a small mono looks like you have seen the light

Hi guys. Does anyone out there have any info on a ace craft 660 called Cheryl- Anne. My brother and I have bought her with 90hp Hondas. Was just wondering what the history of the boat is and what the hours are more or less. Love the boats so closed eyes and bought.

I know of a 660DV which had 90 Honda's:

"San Michelle"...belonged to Eugene Hope and before him Nic de Kock

Hours were 1500 something seven years ago

Put up some pictures, someone here should know

If this is the boat, I can direct you to which house the boat was parked at in Saldanha until about a year ago

Thank Thika that boat in the pic is the boat we now own. Needs a new deck and some cosmetic work. Motors need a service and a carb job which is going to cosy in the region of R10000 for both. Hour meters say 580 odd and 620 odd. Don't know how true this is but its ours now so we will make it work. Do you have any info on this boat? Is the previous owner on the site?

I think 'San Michelle' is now Nenya. just been refurbed and running with 90 zuks

I stay in Bothasig so bit far but next time I am out that way I will make a turn. We started pulling the deck off last night. Doesn't look to bad in there. The deck was made from about 6-8mm ply wood. Is that correct? I had a Viking 15.6 a few years ago that I restored and the deck was a solid glass construction. The boats are both from the same era so why the wood on the 660dv? Should I stick to marine ply or is there something else I should use?
My boat has two built in petrol tanks they are about 60l each one in front and one at the back. Thika does your boat have the same tank layout? Also our tanks are plastic with a steel plate on top and the pipes come off this plate there is also a fuel level sender. The steel parts of the tank are rusted almost away. Can this be replaced or should I get new tanks. The boat is standing at my old mans house so next time I go there I will take some pics and post them. Thanks again

Guys is this an ace craft?? The owner selling says it a navarone but to me it looks like an ace.

Ive done some looking up and this is definitely not an ace craft, still not one hudred percent sure what it is tho. There are so many boats in this class that have very similar hulls.

Stared at the pic for a while , not a Ace but do think it is a modified Navarone, the upper deck moulding especially the bow looks like a navarone
