Was browsing around looking for bargains. Came across this. Perfect Cape boat. Motors a bit light for KZN but low hours 4 strokes and boat looks clean - good value I think.

I ordered a 19' Ace Craft kit in the early 1970's and launched it about a year later and added an OMC 140hp Z-Drive.
It was a big ski boat in those days and caught lots of fish off PE including tuna far offshore, and yellowtail. It also got us home in some terrible weather and rescued a few boats.
A friend of mine still has a 16' plywood Ace he built and it is now 45 years old and still going.
Ace Craft was a major contributor to the evolution of ski boats in SA.

Know this is an AC thread, but im sure most are mono-lovers in general. Have taken the last few months to totally restore a 18'6 Viking with a pair of Yammie 85's. Everything from the ground up basically. The stand out lessons. Costs are way more than initially expected and days become weeks, become months before you know it!
