I have fished with many rods and owned some big brands like Smiths etc. My friends have high end rods of all sorts too but nothing compares in my opinion. There are pretty rods and there are brilliant rods, this one isn't the prettiest but unfortunately not the cheapest either!

Do you see the bend in the butt by my hand?

Thanks for prompt reply. I have the JM6 and JM8 reels and am
considering matching them to the Venom 350 and 450.
Would you agree with that.
In your opinion what other brand for the money would compete with the Synit.

Hi Craig,

The Synits are fantastic products as has been pointed out by Bennie, and have certainly proved themselves to be incredible perfromers.

If you are looking at possible other options in the same level which would match perfectly to the PE 6 and PE 8 reels from JM, you could look at the new Jigging Master Fallings range and the Jigging Master Evolution Titanium series which we carry ( www.jigstarafrica.co.za )

I fished the new Fallings rod briefly last week and it is truly a sublime product...
