This is just not acceptable. When are all these big companies that pollute this river going to face up to what they are doing?

 

Such a beautiful river going down the drain. Sad sad news.

Guys if read this article you will see that these fish are dying 12ks up from the mouth so the report stating that the mother well slipway can be the cause does not make sense Mother well is 7ks down from this spot. This probaly happend a lot further up and the results are washed down

hi guys..i stay in that area and its very sad..it happened a few years ago as well..tons of fish died(bass,carp and kurper)..it must be someone in the uitenhage area that is poluting our river system..have anyone seen the stretch of river as you go out of uitenhage past the traffic dept?is a sad sight..can someone please help?we use to learn how to fish in the despatch area..fishing for bass and carp..now its long gone!
