Surf spinning rod options?

Im reasonably new to the surf spinning scene.On the research ive done there are two rods which stand out.
The Assasin Amia 11ft 2pc heavy or the 10'6 daiwa exceller 3pc.
They both cast 1 -2 oz spoons/lures/plugs.
Has anyone experience with BOTH rods?

I have the Amia XH with micro guides and I love it. The only downside is, I would prefer a rod with a lightly bigger weight range, but that will come at a cost.

The Daiwa also comes in a 11,6ft but havent tried it.

I dont think you would go wrong with either rod. Both brands are top notch

Try the Berkeley Taipan. Heard it's awesome.

Oval 10'6" is very nice too. Lots of options in that range, the excelers are one of my favorite to fish too.

Ive got both rods. The Assassin Amia is paired with a Stradic fj 5000 with 17lb Gosen. The Daiwa Exceller is paired with a Stradic fj 5000 with 25lb Gosen. The assassin has much more "flick" than the Daiwa. I use the lighter setup for Shad/Snoek and the heavier for Kingies and Garrick. Either way you won't go wrong.
