surf fishing in wildernes

i would like 2 know if in the last week, any body cought fish in the wildernes area?

I'm a bit confused because last night the water was perfect, but aperently of at least 20-30 fishermen there was only 1 sand steenbraas that was cought. is this true if not please give som tips because i have run out of ideas.

please help my wife thinks i'm not fishing but jolling so this could determine my fishing career.

i dont now about the sand steenbraas but i saw a guy cought a grunter on saterday on the left side of leenkiesklip. i also spoke to a guy who cought a musselcracker and a steenbraas on vryday at the side of the railway line at leentjiesklip. have you seen the lates george herald some nice fish came out at leentjiesklip.i went down on saterday and sunday only cought a 2 kg bronsie

jup and that makes me jelous!

we went out on monday night 2 nsri i got biten off and my friend johann cought a nice cob but that was it.

i'm going out on thursday again.

Very nice meeting you guys last night. I got nothing but a serious overwind on my Trinidad 30.:cens Got instant "heartburn" when it happened. Serious left current when the tied came in.

Did anybody else get something?

what a crapy night nothing hapend, there was only one positive thing off the that night abd that was meeting you guys.

i had sum luck on sundays low tiede  i made 5 throws and cought 4 stingies.

okey jents here it is cob 14kg 9kg and a 5kg, one belman and a couple of sandsharks this was all at nsri have fun tight lines. :fishn just whant 2 add that it was this morning on hide tide. and it was confirmed i saw the photos c u there i'm going for hide tide 2-morrow.

okay had good fun this morning went out at 2 this morning cought 2 sharks of about 1.5 meter each was bitten off once one shad one grunter. the morning hours are more productive i'm in jo-burg now c u on the 4/11/2008

Will the wind calm down tonight and what effect does it have on the fish.I am going to Wilderness but are taking the family with so I cant stay too late.Hopefully it calms down before 7.If anybody goes through Wlderness before 5 please let me know about the conditions.

BTW Great fish Itsarap!

Went to Wilderness last night and and tried to fish.The wind was howling and I was surprised to see 6 other fisherman standing in the wind.I made a few casts between Leentjies and the mouth but no luck.I packed up at about 7:15 and went back to Leentjies to see if the other people had some succes but they were all gone as well.

I'm Back from jo-burg landed yesterday went out to nsri. fef i was one of the brave souls that stud in the wind. just want to say that one grunter one shark and a pic up of note that came off the hook ,that was around 8 last night going to boutha beech 2-morrow night. nyathi if you want to cum along? give me a call that is the spot to slide live bait for big cob.:fishn

O BOY did it happen last night i could'nt keep up with casting or baiting up. It was on last night i think between myself and sum other guys there was about +- 8 cobs and 1 shad hell of alot of sharks and one duck bill that i cought my first ,and wait for it a cob of 30+ kg i repeat yes a cob of 30+ kg this at nsri in the guly i'll post pics of the cob later this afternoen you must see this. Its the most x-cieting time i had in a long time at the coast, despite the curent that stufd us around it still cookt. man You guys mist out. Going to boutha beech next week johan and them going 2=night dont think there is going to be space at willdernes 2-night you know how it is when news gets out but i hope the guys catch its about time sumthing happens in our area.
