No , I dont think a smoothound , have hooked and landed one and not foul hooked in the top jaw...Ive also hooked and landed to date 3 speareyes or grey sharks as they are known..they are certainly fun especially here in the 5 to 6 kg bracket..a speareyes initially run feels just like a tail...Ive hooked 2 tail and landed zero...thats a DIRTY fighter...BUT a piggy on spoon..man o man I would be chuffed...
I have also hooked 4 poensies(black mussel cracker) on sponn all around the 40cm range...juveniles...would hate to hook a adult ...the SL30 will K@K bricks!!!...
