I was annoyed at the stench at Blue Lagoon.During the weekend the guys were literally fishing over each other.On the Monday I took a drive to check the water(trying to read it)besides the odour the surf was messed with packets and bait packaging.We are only faced with this problem during Shad season.When I fish I gather all the left over bait and make a chum and throw this into the water,all paper.plastic and cardboard is dumped into the closest bin.PLEASE GUYS LETS GET TOGETHER AND EDUCATE THE MASSES.Maybe the local authorities can also help.

Guys, carry a packet with you to the beach and take all the dirt, boxes and unused bait with you to the nearest bin. NCAU has now stopped anglers from discarding unused bait into the water as complaints have been received that this bait washes up onto the shore and stinks. It is advisable rather to discard this together with all the paper dirt in a nearby bin - these bins are normally emptied regularly.
