Sterkfontein dam - Qwantani

hi Guys.
we are going on a fishing trip next weekend at Qwantani.
I have seen quite a few post which a relatively old. I would like to know if any of you have fishing Sterkfontein Dam recently and if so how was the fishing?

* Baits that worked well.
* Casting Distance
* Best fish activity times.

we will be fishing convntionally for carp.

Tough part of the year to be fishing sterkies , I have found that sweet baits work well all year round , banana pip and a plain floatie. Pick a spot and ground feed the area well, the yellows will be very slow now. Best carp fishing is at night but mornings are also good .. it will be freezing this part of the year so take care .. let me know how it goes
