Hi BigVan, I went onto your website. Very nice I must say, I have been on several through the years checking out new places to stay and fish. My wife and son normally came along so I like to stay in places that will accomodate them and make the wife happy to be there.

Your place looks great and very comfortable, the dams not to big but big enough to be able to fight a big fish (you seem to have enough of those!)

Will definately try to organize a weeked to your place as soon as possible.

I must admit the houses are well equipt. I get the mo?!@3%r in if I have to pay for a bed to sleep on and you can not really sleep. We are used to things as a family together and the wife can get higly irritated if she must "sukkel". Thats why I said to her that she must rig out the houses as she would like to have it. Whoa!!  I could not moan about the cost as I said she could do it, but today I am glad that we have done it as all the people that have visited complimented us on the houses.

The dams are not very big as you would be able to cast to the middle of most of the dams. You can float tube the biggest dam if there is not other people fishing the dam.

Spend the weekend at your place and caught the biggest trout ever.

Got three browns,  3.5, 1.5 and 1 kilo's. The 3.5 kilo brown came from the kloof dam and the other two from your main dam in front of the houses. This is by far the largest trout of any kind I caught in my life. (2.5 kilo rainbow my prev PB).

There are VERY big Rainbows in that Kloof dam. I got broken off, had a hook straightened and saw another turn on the surface that was much larger than the brown I landed (at least 3-4 kilo's). I hooked a fourth but lost it after sighting it briefly (I guessed also in the 2-3 kilo class). Darkness chased me from the Kloof and the next morning we had to be of early so I missed out on a second go at the Kloof.

That is fishing you can only dream of! AND I AM NOT EXAGGERATING!

The main dam also has some very big fish. I saw some monsters jump, but they are tricky to catch! Got many smaller ones, all rainbows.

The final treat was my first golden rainbow just over 2 kilo's... what a beaut.

We must plan a fishing trip maybe down to Mozambique. I am organising to get access to a farm where there is huge bass for summer time that is close by to Leeuwkloof.
