Nice rig, but how do you avoid the bait bunching up or do you use the second hook as a "skelm" letting it hang loose?

Arno, we've used those orange floats for kob with great succes. Just use short hook snoot(15-30cm) and just let the orange float slide behind the bait. As the waves hit the float, it will move up and down the line and induce movement on the bait. Also heard of a 11kg steenbras caught using one of those orange floats.

I have caught a small Steenie at Van Der Riets on this rig as well. If you want to go to bigger hooks you can use this rig for Bronzies as well

i tried this but with 1 long shank and i caught abowt 6 alf in a night but u gonna go thru those floats quite alot as they munch the crap out of those floats and the lumo color is lost then aswell but for me it worked like a bomb

The other option for a float on this rig is to use wine bottle corks and to modify them to the size you want and then to use food die to change the coulor. I prefer using red wine corks. They already tend to have a bit of red in them.

you use a sinker as well what you do is tie a piece of what ever line you like to use for trace onto the swivel and make it the trace how ever long you want then have a sinker line as well
