And Ray is in Bassas right now the lucky bugger. Hope those poppers come back with a good deal less paint on them.

I used the red and gold Halcos recently in Mozambique and was by far the best colour combination. If targetting big fish use owners, the first poppers hooks in the photo, would not be adequite. Very nice work. Cheers Paul (MM)

Drop the attitude tauruck, rather keep quiet, it is not nice for the rest of us. If you have a beef with bennie then take it up directly with him and leave your sny remarks away from the forum.

Mikey,
I really don't mind if you have some constructive criticism but please don't ruin the forum for everyone, let's leave the tequila out of it! You are welcome to ask me any questions you like about my lures.

P.S. Those hooks are Mustad 5/0 big game trebbles. I'd worry more about the 220Lb split rings.

Only read all the replies this morning. Firstly I dont play games, to the detriment of others, so I am not going to get involved in any tit for tat argument. Looking at the Popper I was under the impression that those hooks were 4/O VMC trebles, which in my opinion is way to light when trying to pull 20kg plus GT's away from structure with 80lb braid. I use 8/O Owners or 9/O VMC livebait singles on my collection of poppers. If using trebles I only use one on the arse end. As I said in my first post nice work. Cheers Paul
