Hi

Do any of you guys know where i can get the stuff for making Soft plastics I already have a silicon mould.

I've done this before, If you're looking for standard colours, just melt down some old soft plastic, in a pyrex container in the microwave, keep a close eye on it so it don't burn, and keep stirring from time moulded alot of swimbaits this way

Maybe it's time to hold a lure building workshop where we can help the members with all the facets of mould making, carving and the other so called dark arts.

I think I can get sponsors on material.

How do we put it out there???.

I've seen the best laid plans shot down in flames.

300 guests say they'll be there and 5 arrive.

A clinic like this needs planning.

I don't want to be made to look like D@@s in front of the sponsors.

What ideas/insight can you offer?.

First we plan what we want to do and what materials we'll need. then we decide on a venue. then we publish it. get rsvps. get someone to sponsor a give away prize for a draw. (I'm sure I can arrange something) Make sure the date is not to soon. and then remind, remind, remind. We can also put up posters at the angling shops and send invites to the local angling clubs.
