Just a reminder of the social fundraising casting comp at model yacht pond at the Blue Lagoon on Sunday 23 September 2007, from 8 to 11 am.
This is for purposes of some relaxed entertainment spiced with a dash of club fundraising and promises to be an interesting event.
A short summary…..
R 25 entrance, three casts to count and average of three is your distance. Casts must land between markers to be valid (in the same time zone for you guys who bomb it out there) and a line meter will be clipped to the rod to determine the distance achieved.
Let’s try and gave a good turnout, come and show us what you can do. It promises to be an interesting exercise, if only to substantiate for once and for all just how far/close you really cast.
A bring and braai will be held thereafter and some expert anglers from the clubs Hiawather , Blackfin and Flying Fish have confirmed attendance...
lets try and make it a good turn out especially for those who want to practice and perfect their casting abilitys...
