.....and man not a regret around even though this product is an expensive one!

Have a look below

I got the blue one in 7ft, this package comes with everything you need, very detailed instructions and a disc with a 7 min instructional wich you can also fine on youtube.

The most difficult part about fitting this product is the measuring/taping down and the physical part of sticking it to your boat, the other preperation parts were very basic.

After the measuring and taping, it's time to etch the boat as they say, i made sure i went about 5mm over the edge of the guard so that the edges of the guard stick properly.

I was a bit concerned that the 320grin etcher might damage the boat but it roughens up the surfaces very slightly it's to give it a secure fit.

The only thing not included is something to clean the etched surface with, i used acetone that i got from builders, was like 20 bucks or something.

After that you prime it with the primer included

After thats it's time to stick it on, this took the most hands as you need it to be center and pressed quite hard.

This gives your(or my boat at least) a real cool look and obviously protects the keel, it also has a lifetime garentee according to the packet and it's quite heavy duty!

If you guys are intressted in getting some of these, get at me then i will send prices, they are available in lots of different colors and lengths!

I took a pic of the complete product but cant find it, when i do i'll post!

fst roller do you know if that keel guard come in white? I assume you have tested it out by now so what do you think of it so far ? I was wondering how much protection it would afford if I was beaching and there are quite a few rocks about the size of golf balls on the beach. Thanks

This looks good!

I see you do not have any keel rollers on your trailer. Does the other ski-boat fisherman in your club have keel rollers? If so does this product take the hammering of the boats weight on the keel rollers as you guide the boat onto the trailer? (Once on the trailer the keel should not rest on any rollers)

this product will protected against anything, it's got a very thick rubber protector, just one thing, your keel has to be vee all the way otherwise it does not stick to tight and it does come loose, my boat starts with a v but then progresively goes to a square profile, good news is if it does come loose it offer a lifetime garentee so they will replace it but only once.

As for the rollers, trust me if this things stick to a vee it sticks, they advise you not to let your trailer rest on it but i dont think it will affect it that much.
