Good Afternoon ladies and gents :)

I wanted to get peoples' views and experiences with Snowbee fly fishing products here in SA.

I had a look at the rods and lines at Kingfisher and they seem to be of a good quality, but a nice box and good performance aren't always the same thing ;)

Please let me know if you have tried any of the products
(I'm mainly referring to freshwater Fly fishing but any reviews are helpful).

Cheers

Snowbee fly fishing products are good - Kingfisher stocks them locally.

Check out: http://www.snowbee.co.uk/fly-fishing/
for more info. UK flyfishers demand quality products.

There are also some bargains to be had in their clearance items, despite the exchange rate. I recently got myself a clearance 5wt Snowbee Prestige Switch fly rod - very happy with it. Their flylines are also nice ...

This 5wt switch works well with 250gr fly lines (approx. 8 Weight AFTMA).

where this Snowbee Switch Rod gets a good review (and a good case is made for using Switch Rods for trout!) …

Also see: https://www.flylineshop.com/
for British made Barrio Fly lines – a very nice quality product at a reasonable price despite the exchange rate. Mike Barrio ships directly to SA - postage free.
