I never used to get queasy, but the last few years I've started, so I take stugeron and a valoid the night before and in the morning no problems with that.
My youngets son is sort of ok when we troll, but the moment we stop he chums, some years ago we took a charter out of St Lucia and I gave him some 'seasick tablets' the night before and some in the morning, it was no good he chummed all day. When we got ashore I found that I had given him Colchicine tablets which I carry in case of gout, both pill containers were the same size and both pills were small white ones, he's never let me forget that, mind he never got gout either so there is a bit of a positive spin to it all.
We went out of Richards bay in October and even the Sturogen and Valoid didn't stop him chumming, once we were back in the harbour or if we are out on say Jozini and the wind is pumping he's fine, I think it's something to do with looking at the horizon and seeing no land that gets him going.
It's not a pleasant thing to suffer from but with me the tablets work, I will try ginger capsules with him next time we go out
