Well when we fished the tugela comp you were allowed to have two rods just in case.So im sure that you can have one rod the other one is just incase you wana catch live bait or as a spare rod..

And yes in the tugela comp im sure the leader was the only reqirement..So i hope i helped you in some way..

I just got an email from Jonah of the Sealine team...

He cleared up a few things for me and im sure for all of us .

1.The fish will be measured and then the weight will be determined via ORI..

2.All edibles have to weigh at least a kilo to count for the competition and the points will be 2 point for every kilo..

3.All non edibled will have to weigh at least 2 kilos to count for the comp and you will recieve 1 point per kilo eg.. a 2kf spinner shark will give you 2 points and a 3 kg spinner will give you 3 points.

4.You are allowed two rods for the competition no drop shott fish will be counted for the comp how ever you may use one of your two rods to catch live bait, but under no circumstances will you be allowed to have more then two rods in the water at one time.

5.All fish that are border line fish with regards to estimating the weight will be measured and then the exact weight can be determined for the competition,by doing this we cause less harm and stress to the fish that are caught...

That was an email from Jonah Daniel SEALINE TEAM KZN

Cheers Riymos

Hopes this helps guy's
