HEY OWES WHO THINKS WE TRY START OUR OWN FISHING MAG,I RATE WITH EMPEROR WE COULD BE QUITE SUCCESSFUL HEY.LETS GET THE VOTES IN,EACH CONTRIBUTE SOME CASH TO GET THE STARTING FUNDS IN AND THEN ORGANISE SOME BIG SPONSORS AND THEN WE BECOME FAMOUS.LETS DO IT BOYS,WE GOT THE POWER AND DETERMINATION.WHOS GOT A BUDDY WHO DOES PUBLISHING?

Thats the first solid advice i heard from you leonard!...sounds good too! For our first cover we can put u in a speedo with one off masters pink dusters from volcom's collection!..

nivi wats up,if we slide master we gona waste our time,not pretty enough for the fish.its no use putting me on the front,cos im gonna be on evey page,lets put you on the front with your big guppy.(excuse the pun)haha,just kidding owes.now lets stop playing around and get some quality and decent information on how we can get this mag running.^^..

Lets walk before we can fly...its a great idea but wat sort off fresh content can u use that esa hasn't done already?as diverse as the sport is the competition is tough an unpredictable..

Hows about starting a club newsletter? Simple layout, printed on newsprint, similar to the set up off the old fishin newspaper that used to be around..our advertisesin income would be sufficient to cover costs and it provides the perfect building block for a full on mag later on....

The partnership disolved...the brothers have gone their own way business wise an have since started their own paper...that makes the competition tougher...

great idea all, one thing tho ........ we need to realise that is not an easy task, and would obviously need a full time dedicated team of professionals to keep it going, do we have these in place? or is it possible at all? only sealine admin can answer that im sure??............ just food for thought :thankie

Yes please dont try and go over Admin head and do this yourselfs I found out the hard way that they are not really interested in having sugestions brought forward ie My jacket/shirt poll and topic(youll notice they have been removed and locked) because apparently it was getting out of control. I was told not to do what the Admin department was meant to. Nice, so much for the member having a say!

I agree with nick to an extent, if we as members have a say then surely 'admin' should take notice ? i have investigated prices etc on the topic and only hope that sealine admin will appreciate our efforts. is someone at sealine admin going to give us an answer or some feedback on this issue?

Hi Gents !

I would like to thank everyone for the enthusiasm shown.

Sealine is busy at the moment with the t-shirts for the competition, ie our request for t-shirt sizes etc...

There have been a few setbacks with regards to the jackets that were mentioned a while ago. As I said, we are busy with it. We have in our posession a few catalogues, of which include golfshirts, jackets, pullovers, caps etc...

It is indeed a great feeling to wear branded outfits on each outing, one of the reasons as to why I wear my Sealine t-shirt all the time, another being that I can be recognised by fellow members easily... I for one am proudly Sealine & am proud to wear anything that has Sealine printed on it. I am sure that all members share the same sentiment.

@Nick & Mike, in the past we have made t-shirts which were "handed" out together with bumper stickers to the members at competitions. The next batch will be ready for the 2Oceans Challenge & soon a range of clothing available for purchase.

The Sealine team is dedicated to providing to it's members needs & in order to do so, we rely on member's contributions. It forms a base on which we work, thus creating this fantastic online community & valuable information source.

With that, I'd like to say that all branding will be done by Sealine & will be available for purchase to members across the board as promised.

Patience is one of the virtues of a true fisherman ....
