Thank you for the weight chart

Yes planned 1 x 40 Hp 2 stroke Yamaha..electric start

Between me and Malboer must decide on final motors

We had the 40 and got the hull on trailer almost as a gift..

Time will teach

Pleasure mate, yes, elect start way to go, had those 25 manuals years ago, no issues, but prefer elect start, by looking at your boat, you can put 2 x 25 or 2 x 30s - no probs, mine is more less the same. I am referring to the older type motors.

Sorry I missed your point, perhaps I am confused, you want to run with a 40hp for now, then you guys want to put 2 x outboards later on?.... How many people will be going out? Look most Ski Vee boats in that range older types (like mine) as per the specs are rated for 4 pax, which of course depends on the weight of pax - it can make a difference, and it's kind of an overload... so I would say from my experience, max 2 x adults... not too much working space. Then it's the fuel cans and and, I know Malboer said that you guys will just be beach launching and then not too far out, unlike Maputo's outings which is miles and miles... I would suggest you guys post this info / topic / upgrades / progress in the Ski Vee thread on Sealine, follow this link - there's other okes that's into Ski Vees as well.

Here's the link, please post the info here:

Serra, Thank you

Yes that is the plan (to put 2 Motors later)

It will be mostly me and Malboer and will not easy exceed 2 adults...

Looking forward to refurbish this nice little boat and will certainly post the progress on the link.

Thank you once again for super info
