In that area, you are most probably going to get a lot of shad this time of year. At present there are some small grey sharks coming out and a few hound sharks as well. On slide at places like Splash Rock you may get a small scalloped hammerhead. Thats all that I have heard - hope it helps.

many thanks vishan i hope they are still around when we get there .i see you fish with a blade is it the HMG version or the normal graphite , why i ask is that a freind had given me one and i havent yet got a chance to put it through its paces , i fish with a gremlins 7+1 hmg and its seems alot stiffer , whats the give i thought blades where poles.

I have a normal blade with has a number 7 tip, which is stiff, but not as stiff as the 365/7+1. The blade HMG comes with a number 1 tip and thats a pole - I think its stiffer than the 365/7+1. I also have the 365/7+1 HMG and I love that rod.

My gremlins rod is a 400 7+1 so thats a stiffy i recently felt a freinds hmg blade and its only the bottom two sections that are stiff the tip is almost the same i think. i have a mate angling in kzn hes also a pilot but in SAA his names feroze , do you know him?. I am formally from isipingo beach my self but i live here in langebaan now
