AquaD... errrmmm.... Family CARANGIDAE includes, the GENERA...
Carangoides (Kingfish), Caranx (more Kingfish), Elagatis (Rainbow Runner), Seriola (Yellowtail & Amberjack), Seriolina (of which only 1 occurs in Southern African waters, the Black-banded Kingfish), Trachinotus (Pompano), amongst MANY other genera...

The Internationals often call our Yellowtail - (Seriola lalandi) -  "Kingfish", or "yellowtail Kingfish", because it falls into the KINGFISH FAMILY. Do we call the "Cape Yellowtail" a Kingfish? No. But the New Zealanders do.

So Dusky Yellowtail or Dusky Kingfish... same thing, just different names for the same fish in different countries/areas. This fish does not in fact occur in Southern African waters (refer JLB Smith Encyclopedia), it is found only in the tropics. It was caught in Tanzania, and was identified by one of the top Jigging and Popping skippers in the world... James Taylor. Reckon I'd go with his Identification, wouldn't you?
