Hi all,
First of all thanks to all the regulars - I have read as many of the posts as I could and have found it very interesting. By way of introduction, let me say that I'm not entirely new to the artlure fraternity, but I was absent long enough to have missed the whole Sada curly tail revolution (in otherwords long enough to have studied, married and have 2 children). In my days we used to catch kurpers on spinners!
Which brings me to my topic. Mpl artlure is having a comp at RdW on Sat 10 Sep. I have fished this venue only twice before and each of those in a CFC, so it is an unknown as far as species go. I have found good information regarding the species caught in comps there on this forum, but I think most of those were later in the season.
I was wondering if the experienced guys (and girls) could give some advice regarding the smalls and kurper species one could realistically expect to catch in early Sep at RdW? (I'm assuming the better angler will hope to get barbel and carp on top of bass):kaykak
