and this is my new, improved 1, reinforced the inside with a metal strip....the idea is 2 fill it with water which grants it stability and 1 would wash his hands in it after baiting up

Good luck guys, dnt 4get 2 use marine silicone sealer in the hole that u drill 4 the bolt..use 2 washers, pref rubber as well, u cn put a bolt and nut with washers on top and a pop rivet at the bottom,bt nt 2 low as u dnt want water leaking, let the pipe,50mm pvc, stick out a bit on top...i used clamps on the outsyd just 2 reinforce it as the bucket i used isnt that strong,bt i wanted it lightweight,i also attached pvc joiners 2 the top of the pipes 4 extra support, a taller bucket works better, perhaps you may prefer other alterations, ideal 4 rock fishn when therz no place 2 keep ur rod when baiting up, and 1nce filled with water, its v stable..lookn 4ward 2 ur pics

While on this topic... here's another idea for Rod holders... I rivetted 2 pipes onto the side of my Tackle Box.... originally designed to carry my aluminium rod holders when hiking up the beach, but if they're made a little longer, they can work just as well for rod holders...

Thanks Maestro, I made myself one last Saturday and it really works well. I used a 10litre bucket with a lid. I also changed the position of the pipes to be in-line with the handle. It makes it easier to carry. This rod-holder-bait-utility-bucket is a great    vvidevb   Now where am I going to put the cup holders?

Haha Homie from what I hear if you put cup holders on a bucket for yourself , you are going to have to create some sort of ANTI-SPILL DEVICE to attach to it.
