Good evening All, i just got out the garage a short while back. Work has been keeping me busy, repairs especially as this takes more time than anything. Have a look at this saltist i got to do, it was in very poor condition mechanically. Have a close look at the before and after photos. The right side bearing was seized so badly on the spoolshaft i had to machine it off as it would not budge. Bearings were replaced, the reel was sonic cleaned and corrosion removed and treated. The pics speak volumes. It is fixed now and good as new, it looks simple but is really loads of work to restore right. Please look after your reels, it could cost you dearly in the long run.
